Hi people,

Need your suggestion.

I noticed before 2 months that my hair below nose (right side) turned white. I removed all my facial hair in beauty parlour and ignored that. Later in the same region got whitish. For period of one month we treated for alopaecia and doctors gave steriod injection and Dipgenta cream.

Only before one month, I saw the white path expanded and now in nose region as well. (still only on the right side). For past one month, now we are treating it for vitiligo.

I am using vitibex (cream and tablet) in the morning. After 30 mins , I stay in sunlight for 5 to 10 mins.

During evenings, I am using protopic tacrolimus 0.1 % ointment. During weekends, I am using some tablet named Betnesol Forte to control the spreading. (From this week, doctor asked to stop taking this)

Recently before 2 weeks, I replaced vitibex (tablet and cream) on alternative days with Lukoskin (cream and tonic).

For past one week, my skin became pinkish in that vitiligo region. I am also having mild itching some times. Yesterday went to doctor and he told it is a good sign and dont need to worry. Only after 2 months, we can discuss alternate treatment. Any one have experience with the skin getting pinkish ?

For the past one month, the patch hasn't expanded to new region. It is stable I think.

I am also doing regular yoga, pranayama , drinking from copper vessel and started eating vegetables.

I am just looking for any suggestions you can give me to control and reduce the spread.

I also like to hear any success stories with recent treatments on newly occurred Vitiligo

Regards,

A sad girl

  • Yes, My skin became pinkish too. But i never experienced any type of itching. If it is itching, then it might be because of some allregic reaction.(itching usually a symptom to allergy).

People say chicken and egg white might increase vitiligo but that is a myth. You can have any kind of food. And i am not sure on the diet for what kind of food would reduce vitiligo. I went to 2,3 doctors ,and no one suggested a diet.

As you are on initial stage in vitiligo, we cannot be 100% sure of it being stable or not. I have been suffering from.vitiligo on fingertips and toes from 8 years. I used tracroz(same as yours) and UV light exposure and some other medication prescribed by doctor. At first it went on increasing and then it started reducing but affected other areas like if i get any wound, vitiligo attacked there. Please continue your treatment and monitor your progress. Once if it is 100% stable, go for a melanocyte surgery( Effective and best ). Because normal treatment (with tablets and ointment)will take a really long time like 3 to 4 years.

Pleas feel free to ask if u have any other questions. Please dont worry if u get any unnecessary attention from the people around you..keep a positive attitude,it will be cured.
  • Take 2x Melanocyl tablets and expose to sun for 10-15, its work it costs around Rs 95 for 30 tablets and again all this thing won't last forever after some days your skin will turn into white again it's my personal experience, it may work for you..

I'm into Ayurvedic treatment it's been 7 years I have seen new spots on my body.. At the start of treatment my fingertips are turning white, but after 3 months into treatment, it's normal since then no new spots.. Old spots are regimented. My Lips are still in pink color and need to be regimented but anyway, it's hard for anyone to notice. The total duration of this treatment will be for 8 years and cost will be around 1600 Rs a month. All this year I never followed any strict diet, Doctor only suggests you to stop taking sour foods..

Here i'm attaching ingredients used for making these capsules and I have seen people who got cured by taking Bavichi and Arogyavardhini Vati together

Here i'm not promoting any products, i'm also the one who suffered with vitiligo and wanted to help.. because i tried everything and only Ayurvedic treatment works for me...

    • I tried homeo,it dint work for me. Allopathy worked but it spreaded intially and then it reduced.
    • Cool, I am taking Lukoskin (which also has bavchi) for Ayurveda path. I have the patches only in my face. I heard that face is the easiest to cure. I haven't got in hands or legs yet. Hopefully everything will be fine soon.

Do you know if I can use both english medicines and ayurdeda medicines together , like on alternative days ?

      • It's completely fine using both, usually Most Docs suggest B12, Folic acid, Zinc I used them for some years, Now I'm taking One A Day Multivitamin Tablets as i have some more extra vitamin deficiencies lol .

You can also try finding your body type and balance Pitta , My Doc suggested me this.  from many years i'm doing this and as my body type is Vata type he suggested me to start my day with Balancing tea and with some breathing exercises to avoid body heat.

        • www.Recouleur.com has B12, folic acid, zinc and other vitamins that people with vitiligo are deficient in all in a single tablet making it much easier.
