I am going to try a new treatment regimen consisting of supplements, Ginkgo Biloba, Dead Sea salts and minerals, UVB, diet regulation and self made Pseudocatalase (pc-kus/pc-cat). On sites like fightingvitiligo.com, Flavio's website and in Prof Schallreuters/ Stiefel labs 1992,1995 and 1999 papers its method of preparation is given. https://www.google.com.au/patents/WO1992020354A1?cl=en&dq=inassignee:%22Stiefel+Laboratories,+Inc.%22&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwil6-LX_MXQAhUDgI8KHVIKBKY4ChDoAQhIMAc , https://www.google.com.au/patents/CA2102515A1?cl=en&dq=inassignee:%22Stiefel+Laboratories,+Inc.%22&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiF08zo_MXQAhXBto8KHQQYBi84FBDoAQglMAI , http://www.google.com.au/patents/WO1997017943A1?cl=en , http://www.google.co.in/patents/US5895642 Prof KU Schallreuter describes her Pc-kus as a bis-manganese-EDTA-bicarbonate complex with Calcium. Which is created by the method given in the above and it relieves the Oxidative Stress in the skin. So having collected all the stuff mentioned above for my treatment regimen and having failed to get Pc-kus by post without having to go to Germany . And looking at the bad reviews of the Pseudocatalase available on eBay, Amazon, vitises pcat nanoadditive at sesderma.com and pseudocatalase.com. I have decided to make this pc-kus (pc-misra) for myself. But now I am having second thoughts about it. Looking at the collection of MnCl2, CaCl2, disodium EDTA, sodium bicarbonate, sterile water, Neribas cream, two glass beakers and a mixer along with a 0.001 mg measuring scale sitting on my table I remember the time 20 years back when I failed Chemistry in high school. Manganese is a very harmful metal. Prof Schallreuter gets her patients to have their liver values checked regularly. 6 months or so. It can permanently accumulate in the Liver and in the brain. Damage is permanent. I don't know whether it's absorbed through the skin. I will try to follow her protocol too- of getting my liver and blood count checked regularly, 0.15 J to 0.30j of exposure by UVB 20-40 mins after application of pc- :) once a day for one month and twice a day next month and so on. No turmeric, chillies or excess sugar, salt and milk products. So I want your opinion? Has anybody tried doing this? Was it effective? Can it be harmful?

  • I am taking ldn and uvb phototherapy, staying in India.I am not getting pc kus nor dead sea salt...please advice
    • Thank you saurabh,
Where do you live in Bangalore...
Kindly let me know how you prepare pseudocatalase
      • Anitha I don't live in Bangalore, I live in Lucknow.
        It's quite simple to make.
I will make it and try it in a weeks time. Then I can tell you for sure and in another 3 months time after that I will be able to properly advise you whether to go for it.
    • Hi Anitha,
You can buy minera or Bokek brands of Dead Sea bath salt from amazon.in. They repackage and sell the salt purchased in bulk from Isreal. However, I don't know delivery times etc if you purchase it from there.
Or you can buy the original Dead Sea bath salt made by Dead Sea works ltd Isreal from http://www.peacocksalt.com/cosmetic/sea-salt/view-product/fine-dead... but the shipping costs for it is three or four times the cost of salt. I purchased it for 38£ for a 25 kg bag and paid 115£ for express shipping to India by dtdc UK. However don't buy it from the website as they charge and include VAT. First send them an email if you want to purchase it from there
It's funny but you cannot buy the original thing directly from Isreal as they only export bulk quantities in 1000 of tons. Remember only to buy fragrance free authentic Dead Sea "BATH" salt and not just Dead Sea salt as then it will be NaCl2(common salt).
Prof Schallreuter does not send pc-kus without first going for a consultation in Germany. She tested pckus available at Pseudocatalase.com, Amazon and eBay and found it not effective. She also tested ViTix gel and also found it not effective. Now remains purchasing it online from compounding pharmacies in America - that's a little difficult as Pseudocatalase must be stored at 5 degree celsius. Then there is Vitilase which appears to be a big fraud as it costs 70$ for a 30 ml tube imagine how much you will be spending in a year. Next is vitises pc cat nanoadditive made by sesderma they also have Indian distributorship (website). I enquired about this and they said they can import it for me if I want- cost about Rs 4000 for one set. However, since then I have changed my mind and I cannot advise you until I see the results myself.
      Best wishes
      Saurabh.
  • Hi,

I am author of vitiligopatches.com site. I totaly cured myself with pc-kus/salt from dead sea . I have few small patches that didnt bother me (they are slowly repigmentating due to LDN,). But i checked if i can achive repigmentation by 20 seconds uvb irradiadiation 30 min after pc-kus without erythrema I think that i noticed changes in just about a week. (of course i use also dead sea salt occlusive dressing) So i will make update in my site.

I noticed that you are forgetting about LDN !!!

Currently low dose naltrexone is only one therapy that may supress spreading of vitiligo without overral immunosupression (i also heared about gingko, and simvastatin case report, but i think only LDN alter immune response that is shared root of autoimmunological diseases like psoriasis eczema and vitiligo)

Without LDN you can struggle with endless circle of developing new spots and repigmentation.

    • Sadly taking LDN is not an option for me. I took it when my Dermatologist was treating me with Protopic (Tacrolimus/Tacmod). It did not suit me.
But still thanks for letting me know.
I am relieved a bit after your reply since you also made the Pseudocatalase by yourself and it has worked.
Will need your help once I begin the process.
I have already started taking bath in the salt and beginning with the supplements one by one. Giving each supplement 3-4 days time. To check for any adverse effects. I hope to include all the supplements in 15 days time.
Then will be making the cream plus UVB.
      Thanks.
    • Hi Vitipatch,

I'm considering to switch from OMP to LDN. Do you have a suggestion for that ?

  • So in summary all this is what I am going to.
    1. Wear a magnetic copper bracelet.
    2. Use Dead Sea salt and mineral mud soap in bath.
    3. Take 13 pills as supplement- 5 pills of five a day, 4 pills of boost, 2 pills of Ginkgo, 1 pill of Dr Mercola Msm complex and 1 pill of Omega 3.
    4. Apply that thing I will make for a Pseudocatalase.
    5 UVB
Hopefully will survive and come back after 3 months to tell you how it went.
    All the best and thanks.
    Saurabh
    • Personal comments:

      1. Wear a magnetic copper bracelet.

-Make sure it will not cause friction.  Otherwise will cause more harm than good.

      2. Use Dead Sea salt and mineral mud soap in bath.

-According to Vitpatch,  it should be applied like below (it makes sense):

"I applied saturated solution of dead sea salt once daily evening pouring water on my skin and wrapping it with foil (for 20-30 min). This is called occlusive dressing, due to this foil more active substances penetrates our skin."

      3. Take 13 pills as supplement- 5 pills of five a day, 4 pills of boost, 2 pills of Ginkgo, 1 pill of Dr Mercola Msm complex and 1 pill of Omega 3.

      -Think about considering  probiotics...

      4. Apply that thing I will make for a Pseudocatalase.

-Make the test before appying (only first time).  Don't make more than 100mg at a time, in order to keep its activeness in the peak.

      5 UVB

      -Make sure you have a UVB-NB (not a UVB-BB).  If it's a 9w bulb, it should be PL-S 9W/01

      Good luck.

      • What were you saying about vitipatch? I can see only half of your reply.
        Can you repost it?
