Hi,
I have been advised to start photo therapy with NB UVB as my vitiligo has spread on most areas of my body. I have found a place in New York City where they offer it and take my insurance, but my copay is $75 dollars and paying that three times a week (for 15 second exposures) will be a very costly treatment!
Does anyone know if there is a way to rent a home treatment machine? Or is it better just to buy a machine for home use? Is anyone in the NYC area sharing a machine with others to minimize cost?
I have seen some recommendations here in the forum for buying machines, but I just wanted to hear if there are other ways to get treatment without paying a thousands of dollars per month in co-pay.
Any input will be highly appreciated.
