Chemicals to avoid

Good evening!

I have done some internet searching on what to avoid when you have vitiligo. I can't seem to get a clear answer and i'm not sure what is true and what is not. I've heard that I should stay way from benzoyl peroxide and chlorine. Has anyone found that swimming or using acne face washes with benzoyl peroxide make it spread? I'm not sure what else I should try and avoid. Any suggestions or observations.

    Avoid any product that contains hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), chlorine, hydroquinone (benzene) and phenol.
