  • Hi There,

My dermatologist wants me to apply once a day, at the evening because your skin it will be more sensitive at the sun light.

I apply protopic when I go to the bed, and on the morning I take my bath and put my normal creams.

After 5 months of use, I clean all of the most of my face, there's only a few white patches on the neck. :)

  • twice a day - morning and night.

but the shininess of protopic is horrible and my face just looks greasy....so I apply elidel in the morning and protopic at night.  Elidel is similar to protopic but it is a cream as opposed to an ointment so it is not greasy. It is, however, less potent.

    • would you send me the link for buying protopic you are using. do you have any brand? is it working well.

      thanks

      • You need a prescription.  It is sold at a pharmacy.

      • I got this one from the doctor, you can find it everywhere in the pharmacy, but i guess you need a prescription.

  • I applied yesterday, and my skin was burning and I only did one time

  • 2x a day is ok.

  • Protopic is recommended to apply twice a day.  Once in the morning and again in the evening.  The cream is shiny, so I prefer not to apply the cream in the morning. Instead, I apply one application at night on the face.  I am sure my dermatologist wants me to apply twice a day to all spots, but that's not going to happen.
