l imagine this should not be the case. We seem to be hiding even from each other! (I am guilty of that too!)

I do think there is some hiding--I meet people regularly who have Vitiligo who say they have never talked to anyone else about it, or sometimes even met anyone else with it. But it's understandable--it's not most people who are brave enough to go up to others and introduce themselves if they see someone with Vitiligo. I do, but it took me some years to get to that place.
On this site, I think until there's some substantial progress in treating Vitiligo, many will just keep a low profile here... there's only so much commiserating that one can do. :) Give us some good news, and you'll see this site light up like crazy!
