My name is Suzanne. I am a Massage Therapist, a Reiki Master and a Pure Romance Consultant. I have been married since 2005, which is also when I was diagnosed with vitiligo. My husband is wonderful! He thinks I am beautiful even with "spots". I still struggle with self-love and acceptance. I have good days and bad. I hope that one day we can find a cure for vitiligo...or a cure for others' ignorance and intollerance. I look forward to meeting others on here that know what it feels like to be me. I hope to inspire and be inspired!

    Hey There Suzanne,, I like winter coz I dont have to use shorts & vests( which means that i dont have to camo my vit) Durban SA is very Humid but its also one of the best places on earth to live.. Wild life, great beaches, arts and culture hot spot,, very metrolpolitan..all within minutes of each other. One of my dream Holiday would be to spend a snowy xmas some in the US (u know,,jus like on TV... hallmark channel stuff)... Okay take care BYE

    Hey there Suzanne, Yes Coverderm is heat resistant and water resistant, however it does wipe off easily, so it can tend to be messy if you are using light colour clothing and are out partying . Also being a guy, apllying make up is not exactly my forte LOL. my wifey helps sometimes but its still such a long time consuming process takes about 20mins to cover my fore arms and my legs thats why I cant wait to try the tatoo/semi permanent makeup..... Can I guess that you are from Florida or somewhere close cos i have seen the Disney pics and pals of mine that have been to Florida, says the weather there is just like Durban... Hot and Humid !!!

    Hi Suzanne, thanks for the friend invite.  From your pics, I can tell that you are making the most of it and enjoying your life to the fullist,,, GOOD FOR U ;-)    ... I also think that having a supportive spouse is half the battle won.. I am not on any treatment for a while now.. I am going to attempt to cover my arms with permanent make up/tatoo in December.. feel free to browze through my page anytime, you wont notice any vit, cos I have it covered with Coverderm makeup. the tatoo is just more permanent(  Years) cheers have a great day

    Hi suzanne, protopic is an ointment. I use it in the morning and before going to bed. I did this religiously for 1 month and started seeing changes within two weeks. I continued for 3months straight and gained 100% pigmentation on my lips.
