  Hi Leslie, Im not on any treatment now, but I was UVB 3 times a week, excimer laser twice.Protopic and Ue De Cologne I found that the more treatment/attention I was putting into it the worst and quicker it spread. So for now Im just not stressing But I am waiting for somebody to find a cure. Cool Car. take care

  Hi Leslie. Many thanks for your reply. Right now, I only treat vit on my fingers and a couple of spots on my face. The face vit - 60 days and about 100 applications of Protopic later - I am starting to see dark brown spots again. I use a steroid based ointment called ELOMET 0.1% for vit on fingers and finger tips. The steroid cream cured all of the small spots on my fingers and so far has not come back. But with the somewhat big ones - the vit comes back when I stop using the ointment. That is the case with vit on finger tips too. Now I am going to combine Steroid ointment with Protopic. Hope to see better results with the combination. Sorry to hear about the new spots on your right leg. I wonder if the steroid ointment will help you with that. Have you heard of the Vitiligo / Ayurveda diet ?? I guess steroid tablets are okay, as long as you don't allow the body do get used to it. I have been using the steroid ointment on and off for about 18 months now - and I feel fine. Mind you, please recheck with your doc if vitamin C is REALLY okay for you. Many here have told me it isn't - (due to its acidity).

  No, I do not have Vitiligo on my finger tips, but at back of my palm which is 80% repigmented.
