About Me:

I am currently residing in Missouri City, Tx. I have Vitiligo, and would like to contribute my efforts to research, be apart of events, or focus groups within the area I reside. I am currently registering for the Ph.D Management - Accounting specialization program at Walden University based in Minneapolis, MN, I think there is no better timing than now to start getting involoved in projects or focal groups that I am directly impacted by.     But Desiree' how can I. I dont know how too break out of this shell that I have been in for so many years even in prayer. i think I am just a lost cause. How is it that yu begun dealing with yours? I am so much mental pain that even with the meds and therapy I am still having a hard time making through each day. And soon or later I am going to run out of fuel. How do I reach out? How do I get out?

    Yea I live here in Amarillo. I dont do any traveling because I have seizures along with some other health problems. But the thought of being in a group kind of would scare me because I guess i am so insecure with myself bbeing around a lot of people i do not know would honestly cause me too have a panic attack. I hate this because I use to socialize very well before the vitiligo spread. I have it everywhere except my tummy. I was getting steriod shots for my fibromyalgia and it make me gain so much weight so now I am so depressed that I just which someone would say the right thing and help me!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Hello Desiree, I am glad you picked me as one of your friends. I hope that maybe u can give me some positive advice on how u began dealing with vitiligo. I am not dealing gwith this very well and figured if I could meet people with this disease i would not feel like I was the only person going through this because I feel alone right now.Hope to hear from you very soon.
