  Anyone in or around Philadelphia area...I recently moved here for work. :) have had vitiligo since 2006. However, recently it has been progressing at a faster pace.

  Hi Pennsylvania people.  I live just outside of Philadelphia,  I received the diagnosis of Vitiligo just 8 days ago.  I think that I've had it since the beginning of this year after seeing white spots on my hand in the summer but I remember other areas of my skin that seemed to be darker bands of skin along with pink bands.  I just laughed it off at the time as being what happens when you get old.  But then the spots started showing up everywhere and that led me back to visit my dermatologist and as it turns out she has it too.  Now I spend my time looking at my skin under a black light where I can clearly see that it is there. Mostly it's just very white skin under my beige skin. I'm happy to be a member of the PA group.

  Has anybody had good results with UVB light treatments? I finally decided to give them a try and had about 20 treatments, really didn't notice much change yet. They say they take awhile!!

  Hello Everyone Im new here and still figuring out how to navigate around the website.  Are there ever any events around Pennsylvania that we can all get together and have a fun time?  just wondering  anyway have a great day and enjoy the rare nice weather we are having for eastern Pa while it lasts. :)
