About Me:

My vitiligo started when I was 14 yrs old & being the only family member, & what I thought the only teen-ager with it, my mom & I had no idea what to do. It was maintained to the corners of my mouth, eyes & small patches till after my son was born & then progressed. Topical treatments were used to no avail, but then I turned it all over to GOD & ever since then....I've fallen in love with the skin I'm in ;-) HE's moved me from full to partial make up so I kind of have this "racoon mask" thing going on...It's all good!

    Hi Akilah,  My vit started when i was three.  It was mainly on my elbows and knees throughout school and college.  I am now 36 and since the birth of my 2-year-old (like you) my vit has become very aggressive and i have the same pattern as you on my face and hands ;) You have encouraged me.,. Thanks a bunch!!!!!!
