    Steroid cream is a good start, when vitiligo is progressing. May be later, your doc will switch you to Protopic.

    Hi Antonio !!!! Really sorry to hear you lost your wife to cancer. Yes, vitiligo can affect our confidence, especially when it comes to dating !!!! But we must fight on !!!! I am slowly coming to terms with my vitiligo too. This support group has helped me a lot. Come by here as often as you can. I know it will help you much. At the moment I am using Protopic ointment for spots on my face and a steroid based cream for vitiligo on my fingers and elbows. But of course I have much more vitiligo in other areas which I do not treat. What about you ?? I also take Vitamin B12 and Folic Acid. Many here do. So I thought ... why not !!!!! Do you know what triggered your vitiligo ?? It mostly happens if you were going through a stressful time in the recent past.
