About Me:

I've signed my little girl up this website. Her name is Ella and she is happy and outgoing and completely unaware that there is anything different about her. But she is still very young and I think this site is going to be a valuable tool for her as she gets older. Thanks so much.oooooooo

  • Oh.my dear mom,you are so cute.I wish your successful life!
  • Hi, Austin has been taking the pills since October 6th. We are not able to see a difference yet maybe by spring. It is easier I think to try something in the winter when the sun is not shining bright because the sun is what makes the white spots noticable. He takes a full dose everyday. I have not noticed any side effects. We tried to break up the pills and mix it with different foods but to me it smells like oatmeal. He didn't like it to well. He has a hard time taking pills. But now he's doing real good with them not broken up. He puts them down in a bowl of applesauce takes them that way. If you have anymore questions let me know. keep me posted. Good luck, Debbie
  • Hi, my 8 year old son has had Vitiligo since he was 6. We tried many things nothing worked. I found www.merryclinic.com which is where I get the Vitilax oil, and the pills. You have to treat the root of it before you'll see a result. I had a hard time getting him to take them because of the size but I let him read some stories on here and now he takes them everyday. My son has 1 kidney, I had our pharmacy check out the site and I get the meds. he orders the meds. for me. Good Luck it's not something that will go away quickly but it will. Give it time. Please keep me posted, let me know if you decide to try the meds. Debbie

  • Hi Ella! Nice to meet you! I am the only kid at my school with "spots". My teacher this last year was very understanding. I go back to the dermo on the 28th. Let me know what your doctor is doing for you and I will let you know what happens with me.
  • my kid and i went to arkansas for about a month and a half when he was 3 and that's when i noticed the "spots" on his torso. when we got back to omaha i took him to the doctor bc they weren't going away. doctor thought it may have been a fungus from swimming in natural streams and creeks. for a year i had to strip my kid, put this blue lotion on him (i think it was called selson), let him sit for 10 minutes and then shower him off. this went on like i said for a year, every other day. spots were not going away, infact they were spreading. took him back to the doctor who recommended a dermotoligist. the "dermo" diagnosed him with vitiligo and prescribed a cream that cost over $400. i never used it on him. after reading the side affects i decided it wasn't worth it. spots are still sprouting up everywhere and i have done everything the doctor suggested. i took him back beginning of this month and said "i'm using spf 70 and keeping him out of the sun as much as possible yet nothing is helping, what can i do?" we go back to the dermo on the 28th. my kid is 6 years old and i call him my little leopard boy. he now has spots on every part of his young body, knees, torso, back and arms being the worst.
